Unlocking Tutorials, Drills, or Mastery Tests

In both PLATO Web Learning Network and PLATO Pathways, if a student's test is locked because they did not master the test the first time, they should first try to repeat the tutorial or drill. In most PLATO® curricula, repeating the tutorial or drill should automatically unlock the mastery test so that the student is able to retake the test. In some cases, this does not unlock the test and the student is unable to retake it. An administrator may need to go into the student's performance record and remove the lock from the mastery test.
