This flexible research-based program was designed for K–7 students and is proven to increase student mastery. Suitable for many environments—in an elementary or middle school classroom, learning center, or lab during the school day, in summer- or after-school programs, or at home for extended instruction—the program includes interactive games, school and home learning activities, student assessment, and teacher support materials. Cosmic Quest™ These adventures combine a compelling story with video game action to enhance motivation and learning. K9.5™ This program offers interactive challenges that integrate story-based experiences with a foundation of language arts skills and strategies necessary for written and oral communication. KazMania™ This lesson develops literary appreciation and comprehension and introduces students to excellent contemporary poems and short stories. The Three Decoders This series is a comprehensive phonics program that includes phonemic awareness and phonics activities. Areas covered: phonemic awareness, consonant sounds, long and short vowel sounds, word families, digraphs, blends, diphthongs, silent consonants, r-controlled vowels, the schwa sound, vowel variants, inflectional endings, and reading comprehension. WalkAbout Adventures These lessons allow students to participate in theme-based activities that lead to literacy.
